# Piece Options

Use **Piece Options** to configure the pieces in your pattern. These settings affect how the pieces are imported into your CAD software.

1. Open a configured pattern and select **Piece Options** in the preview toolbar.
2. Find the piece you want to configure.
3. Adjust the available options:
   * **Mirroring** — choose the mirroring setting for pieces that support it.
   * **Quantity** — set the number of copies required.
   * **Material** — choose the material assigned to the piece.
4. Click **Save settings**.

The options shown depend on the selected pattern and the capabilities of each piece.

Use **Restore All Defaults** to return the options to their default values, then save the settings.
