Configure Measurement Codes

Admins and Owners can open Workspace Settings → Measurement Codes to customize shared measurement codes and descriptions, and choose which measurements are active for each Pattern Type.

Edit codes by family

  1. Select By family in Measurement Mapping.

  2. Choose Top or Bottom.

  3. Find the measurement by its Internal Code and description.

  4. Enter your Custom Code. Once a custom code is set, you can edit its description.

  5. Change Active if you want to apply the same active status across the applicable Pattern Types.

  6. Click Save Changes, review Apply family changes, and confirm.

Family changes apply across the applicable genders and Pattern Types. Only the fields you changed are applied. A measurement is not added to a Pattern Type that does not support it.

A mixed value indicates that the applicable Pattern Types currently use different settings. Check Coverage before replacing a shared value.

Choose active measurements for a Pattern Type

  1. Open a measurement's Coverage and choose a gender and Pattern Type, or select View specific pattern type and select them.

  2. Enable or disable Active for the relevant measurements.

  3. Click Save Changes.

In this view, active status applies only to the selected gender and Pattern Type. Return to By family to edit shared custom codes and descriptions.

Restore or discard changes

Use a row's Restore defaults for this code action to prepare a reset of that code's family settings, then save and confirm the changes.

If you switch views with unsaved edits, Clab asks whether to discard them. Save first if you want to retain the changes.
