Team Roles and Permissions
Each user has a role in the workspace: Member, Admin, or Owner.
Member — works on pattern projects using the workspace's available tools and references.
Admin — also manages shared references, tags, measurement codes, material and piece codes, and available templates, and reviews workspace analytics.
Owner — also manages workspace details, CAD and notch preferences, and can manage user roles in a managed workspace.
Compare permissions
The table describes access by role. Feature availability also depends on the active subscription and, for project actions, the project's current state. — indicates access reserved for another role.

* In a managed workspace, the Owner can manage user roles from Workspace Settings → Members.
Catalog management refers to the dedicated shared-reference pages. When working on a project, users can use the references and controls available to that project.
Manage user roles
In a managed workspace, the Owner can assign Member or Admin roles to users.
Open Workspace Settings → Members.
Find the user and choose Member or Admin from the role selector.
The change is saved immediately. The Owner role cannot be changed from this selector.
The Members page is available to Owners of managed workspaces, where team access is arranged separately. It lets you review members and change Member/Admin roles; invitation and removal controls are not provided here.
Leave a workspace
As a Member or Admin, open Account Settings and find Joined Workspaces. Choose the workspace you want to leave and follow the confirmation.
Leaving ends your access to that workspace. Clab switches to another available workspace or signs you out when you have no remaining workspace access.
For working alongside other users on a pattern, see Work on a Shared Project.
