# Manage Your Workspace

A workspace brings together your team's projects and shared references. Your role determines which settings you can manage, while available features depend on the active subscription.

See [Team Roles and Permissions](/workspace-and-team/team-roles.md) for a comparison of Member, Admin, and Owner access.

## Switch workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces:

1. Open the menu from your account name or avatar.
2. Select **Switch workspace**.
3. Choose the workspace you want to use. Each entry shows your role in that workspace.

Your role can differ between workspaces. Check the selected workspace before changing shared settings.

## Update workspace details

The **Owner** can update the workspace name:

1. Open **Workspace Settings** and select **Workspace**.
2. Edit the name under **Workspace Details**.
3. Click **Save**.

## Choose the CAD version

In **Workspace Settings → Workspace**, the Owner can select the **CAD Version** used for DXF generation.

Choose the version used by your CAD software, or **All Versions** to generate a dedicated, optimized DXF for each supported CAD version. The selection is saved when you change it.

See [Generate Pattern](/getting-started/generate-pattern.md) for the download workflow.

## Organize projects with tags

**Admins and Owners** can manage the shared tag list. Open **Manage Tags** from the account menu or select **Tags** in the settings sidebar.

Create tags with a name and color, use search to find existing tags, and use the row actions to edit or delete them. The **Usage** column helps you see which tags are in use.

Assign tags to projects through their project details or the dashboard's **Manage Tags** bulk action. See [Manage Projects in the Dashboard](/getting-started/dashboard.md).

## Configure material codes and colors

**Admins and Owners** can open **Materials** in the settings sidebar to map material categories to their own codes and colors.

1. Find the material category in the table.
2. Update its code or color.
3. Click **Save Changes**.

Use **Revert Changes** to discard unsaved edits, or **Restore Defaults** to restore the default mapping after reviewing the confirmation.

To assign a material to a pattern piece, see [Piece Options](/manage-a-project/piece-options.md).

## Configure piece codes

**Admins and Owners** can open **Piece Codes** in the settings sidebar to customize the code associated with each listed piece.

1. Find the piece in **Piece Mapping**.
2. Enter the desired value in **Your Code**.
3. Click **Save Changes**.

Use **Revert Changes** to discard unsaved edits, or **Restore Defaults** to restore the default codes after reviewing the confirmation.

## Manage shared references and review activity

Admins and Owners can also manage [Anatomical Sets](/getting-started/anatomical-sets.md), manage [Size Charts](/size-grading/manage-size-charts.md), and view [Workspace Analytics](/getting-started/workspace-analytics.md), according to the active subscription.
